THE JOB: The Host/Cashier serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless seating experience. This role is responsible for representing the venue's brand, assisting with guest interactions, and supporting service staff by managing table assignments and information. All responsibilities must be carried out in alignment with departmental policies, procedures, and best practices. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Welcome guests upon arrival, verify any applicable comps, points, or rewards, and efficiently process payment transactions using the POS system. Assess party size and any special seating requests, coordinating with the team to guide guests to their tables. Express appreciation to guests as they depart, assisting with any final inquiries or needs. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station, dining area, and service stations. Greet guests with a warm smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and escort them to their seats. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Provides exceptional service and takes pride in their work
