Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner. Provides a high level of service when assisting customers in ordering and delivering food orders according to established protocols. Coordinates and communicates any special dietary requirement of guests to the kitchen. Keeps Lead Server aware of any issues that in a timely manner and assists in resolution. Maintains a clean and sanitary work station. Develops and maintain friendly relationship with regular patrons of the restaurant. Coordinates with kitchen staff and customers and ensure timely delivery of all services. Works to meet revenue goals by establishing and maintaining a complete course of order to customers including salad, drinks and main course. Must be efficient in cash handling procedures, and maintain a working knowledge of the POS system and its functions including but not limited to credit card and gift card transactions. Makes sure that all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and given to accounting at the end of every day. Ability to carry drink tray and food tray appropriately Ensures that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift. Assists Food and Beverage Manager to decorate the bar area for theme weekends Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times. All other duties as assigned.
