Responsible for preparing all tables in your section for service before and after your shift. Welcome your guests with a smile and warm greeting in your designated work area, greeting your guests by name when the opportunity presents itself. Be knowledgeable of food and beverage items on the menu Responsible for guiding your guests through both the food and beverage menus while taking their orders. Ensures the guest’s orders are correct by repeating the order for confirmation, then inputting the order in a timely manner. Be able to inform guests of any daily food & beverage specials Working knowledge of the restaurant’s wine selection, as well as presentation and service of wines according to the service standards. Ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests Extensive knowledge and training on the properties service standards. Deliver table set-ups with food order and clear away in a timely manner. Maintain table with beverage levels throughout service Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ and anticipate their needs. Clear empty plates and glasses from tables. Responsible for complete reset of tables according to service standards once linen is changed. Make sure all areas are always clean and free of debris during service. Assist other servers as necessary. Always be available to deliver food in accordance to service standards Performs all side work as assigned. Qualifications : Minimum 1 year serving experience in a high-paced, well-established environment General knowledge of POS systems and their functions Must possess excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills. Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the food and beverage field. Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions. Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
