Food Scientist (R&D Technologist)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Animal Science, or related field
- Scientific mindset with curiosity and strong problem-solving skills
- Comfort working with data, experimentation, and iteration
- Willingness to spend time on the plant floor and in trials
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without needing a fixed routine
- Adaptable, diligent, and resilient under pressure
- Comfortable learning from mistakes and improving outcomes
- Direct communicator who knows when to ask questions
- Aligned with accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Lead new product development and optimization projects from formulation through launch
- Design and run kitchen, pilot, and plant trials, including troubleshooting when outcomes change
- Own product formulas, specifications, and quality attributes
- Partner with Operations, QA, Regulatory, and Sales to ensure successful execution
- Support rapid commercialization timelines while maintaining technical rigor
- Learn and navigate internal systems to translate development work into production reality
