About The Position

COMPENSATION: $20/HR The FSQA Technician must be available to work Sunday - Friday. Our Techs work 5 days per week, 8-10 hour shifts per day. Shift start could be either 4:30am or 10:30am. Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • At least 3 months experience in a related food and/or quality field
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and information
  • Able to lift, bend and twist as well as standing on your feet throughout every shift
  • Able to work in cold and wet environment (38-40 degrees) for multiple hours

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Applications
  • Experience using tablets for data entry
  • Experience using equipment including but not limited to thermometers, pH meters, scales, etc.
  • Possess strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Bilingual; Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Taking mathematical measurements and solving simple equations
  • Complete scientific conversions
  • Calibrations of certain equipment and/or tools
  • Completing daily quality checks, verifications, and food safety investigations
  • Taking and preparing samples for lab testing
  • Problem solving skills
  • Clearly communicate all quality and compliance concerns to the team
