We are seeking an experienced Food Safety & Quality Analyst to join our team and ensure our products consistently meet rigorous safety and quality standards. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals interested in starting a career in food quality assurance with plenty of room for growth and development. This is an ACTIVE position with 100% of time being on the plant floor (standing, walking, climbing stairs).

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience in a quality assurance, manufacturing, or food production setting is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Foundational understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP programs, and quality assurance/control practices.
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 30lbs, occasionally lift, 50lbs, and stand during your full shift on the production floor.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with internal and external quality audits by recording observations, reporting findings, and supporting corrective and preventive actions for identified non-conformances.
  • Maintain, review, and update quality assurance documentation and logs to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct routine quality evaluations such as temperature, weight, pH, and other critical measurements, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance product quality, safety, and consistency.
  • Provide support and guidance to production staff and participate in training initiatives related to quality standards and operating procedures.
  • Execute thorough inspections of products, packaging, and equipment to verify adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, including HACCP and USDA standards.
