Overview To provide an exceptional guest experience Maintain the company image and vision statement Participate in ongoing training and encourage the personal development of all associates Responsibilities Set up expo window area according to Nelson’s standards Be able to take instruction from the Chef working the line Assure all items are delivered and prepared as orders are requested to guest specifications Maintain consistency of food item presentation Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean Set up trash cans, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift Pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs Ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day Set up heat lamps or umbrellas per a guests request Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards Anticipate and address guests` service needs Speak with others using clear and professional language Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Adhere to departmental policies and procedures Complete closing duties, including restocking items, etc. Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees Perform related duties as required Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
