Maintains cleanliness and presentation of Cafe lines. Assure our guests a quality product on a consistent basis and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Prior food experience preferred.
- Fluent and literate in Basic English.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must be able to have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow directions effectively.
- Basic product identification.
- Must have a sense of urgency to serve customers properly.
- Ability to lift and carry large objects weighing up to 50 pounds and push or pull 300 lbs on a cart or dolly.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Mobility to move around the work area easily.
- Strong sense of product identification.
- Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
- Auditory range must include immediate environment.
- Visual range must include near distances.
Responsibilities
- Carries food from kitchen to cafe line and places it for service.
- Responsible for the food presentation and eye appeal of all food for Cafe line.
- Strong sense of product identification.
- Maintains presentation and cleanliness of Cafe line throughout shift.
- Must be aware of waste and cost control.
- Must have a sense of urgency to solve customers promptly.
- Must always maintain standards for grooming and sanitation.
- Must report any safety hazards to a supervisor.
- Must maintain a helpful and courteous relationship with all guests and co-workers.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourage others to do the same.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
