Maintains cleanliness and presentation of Cafe lines. Assure our guests a quality product on a consistent basis and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Prior food experience preferred.
  • Fluent and literate in Basic English.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must be able to have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow directions effectively.
  • Basic product identification.
  • Must have a sense of urgency to serve customers properly.
  • Ability to lift and carry large objects weighing up to 50 pounds and push or pull 300 lbs on a cart or dolly.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Mobility to move around the work area easily.
  • Strong sense of product identification.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Auditory range must include immediate environment.
  • Visual range must include near distances.

Responsibilities

  • Carries food from kitchen to cafe line and places it for service.
  • Responsible for the food presentation and eye appeal of all food for Cafe line.
  • Strong sense of product identification.
  • Maintains presentation and cleanliness of Cafe line throughout shift.
  • Must be aware of waste and cost control.
  • Must have a sense of urgency to solve customers promptly.
  • Must always maintain standards for grooming and sanitation.
  • Must report any safety hazards to a supervisor.
  • Must maintain a helpful and courteous relationship with all guests and co-workers.
  • Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourage others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
