About The Position

Food Runners are essential to creating a seamless dining experience, delivering dishes with accuracy, urgency, and attention to presentation. This role works closely with the kitchen and service team to maintain the pace and quality of service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and performs well in a fast-paced environment. Ten Five Hospitality is launching a new restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown and is seeking dynamic, experienced professionals with a strong background in fine dining service and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months previous bar, restaurant, or hotel experience.
  • Excellent listener and communicator.
  • Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.
  • Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Strong background in fine dining service & a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers food orders to guests promptly while confirming accuracy, presentation, and special requests
  • Assist when asked with guest requests and when needed for server needs.
  • Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
  • Clearing any dishes from tables when necessary.
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g., proper temperature).
  • Provides an accurate description of dishes delivered.
  • Communicate with the servers in any manner pertaining to guest requirements.
  • Maintain communication with servers and expo to support the flow of service and guest needs.
  • Deliver food to the correct table and place at the assigned position number.
  • Maintain cleanliness by picking up any debris or spills/grease on the floor.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus.
  • Mark tables with appropriate utensils for shared or upcoming courses.
  • Communicate with expo any pivotal information pertaining to the delivery of dishes to guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally and escalates issues to management as needed
  • All other duties as assigned.
