Job Description Summary The Food Runner/Expo is responsible for ensuring that food orders are delivered from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality. This role acts as a crucial link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Job Description Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables swiftly and accurately. - Act as a liaison between kitchen staff and servers, ensuring clear communication and efficient service. - Inspect and ensure all food orders are accurate and meet presentation standards before being served. - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to prioritize orders and manage ticket times. - Assist with plating and garnishing of dishes as needed. - Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. - Maintain a clean and organized expo and service area throughout the shift. - Address guest questions and concerns in a polite and efficient manner. - Follow all health and safety regulations. - Assist in bussing and resetting tables when needed. - Handle any guest complaints or issues with food in a professional manner. - Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Open availability 5 days a week
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy trays.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
