About The Position

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Food Runner for Hollywood Casino & Hotel. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional food service to restaurant guests, assisting with food orders, delivering food to tables, maintaining a clean and stocked workstation, managing inventory for table tops, and supporting servers and bus persons to ensure maximum efficiency and service levels.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must work well with others in a team atmosphere, especially servers, cooks, and supervisors.
  • Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Must pass background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provides fast, friendly, professional food service to restaurant guests.
  • Assists in the fulfillment of all food orders according to guests' needs.
  • Delivers food to guest tables throughout the restaurant.
  • Maintains a clean and stocked workstation.
  • Obtains replacement stock for table tops from kitchen area/storage; takes inventory in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assists server/bus person in setting up tables and provides maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests' special requests.
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
