No other community comes close. The Promontory Club is looking to fill a vacancy for a Food and Beverage Fine Dining Food Runner/Busser – Seasonal, for Sage Restaurant. This is A Modern Italian concept restaurant opening in December along with our new Club House and Golf course. This position is available mid December- mid March, shifts typically 4pm-10:30pm, Thursday-Monday. Must be willing and available to work holidays ​​​​​​​ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Our bussers meet the members’ food and beverage needs in a friendly and professional manner that is consistent with the highest standards of Promontory Club restaurants.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within the first two weeks of employment; must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time; ability to lift 15lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed; must be willing to work in any F&B outlet at Promontory when required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of previous bussing experience preferred; previous experience working with a P.O.S. system is preferred; must have good written and verbal communication skills; must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Greet the Members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Help perform beverage service.
  • Provide a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables. Clear tables of all plates, glasses, and flatware in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the Member's table, as well as that of the entire restaurant area (including floors, doors, windows, and countertops) both during and after the meal.
  • Communicate with host(es) and servers constantly.
  • Completion of assigned opening and closing side work.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, be punctual and well groomed. Uniforms are provided.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned or as required to ensure that the Members have a positive and above satisfactory dining experience.
