About The Position

Cheeburger Cheeburger, located on Sanibel Island, is seeking a Seasonal Food Runner to join our fabulous team! Job Summary: Ensure a marvelous guest experience by expediting and delivering of food orders from kitchen to guest. Interacting with the chef, checking for order accuracy, matching the food to ticket before leaving the expo window to the tables. Cheeburger Cheeburger is managed by Columbus Hospitality Management, a company committed to providing quality service and memorable guest experiences in a positive and welcoming work environment. Responsibilities

  • Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties
  • 100% responsibility for quality guests' experience
  • Must be able to carry large trays with food from the kitchen to all tables and bar seating.
  • Transports food from kitchen to guest using correct table numbers and seat positions.
  • Set up all condiments and kitchen expo line
  • Complete assigned side work and closing duties
  • Expedites all orders from the hot, cold windows.
  • Communicates with servers, bartenders, and kitchen
  • Help pre-bussing tables
  • Helps returning full dish tubs back to the kitchen
  • Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience
  • Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department
  • Be familiar with restaurant menu knowledge and kitchen hours of food service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Adherence to all safety rules and regulations
  • Compliance with all restaurant policies and procedures and described and communicated by management.
  • Complete opening and closing side works.
  • Must be Safe Staff Certified and uphold all Safe Staff guidelines
  • Must be Alcohol Compliant certified and uphold all guidelines
