About The Position

Summary The Food Rescue Coordinator is responsible for the assigning and directing of all food rescue from retailers, restaurants, and vendors through Meal Connect (Feeding America). Essential Job Functions Assign all direct retail pickup to a local agency Work with retail and agency partners to ensure reporting expectations are followed monthly Complete and submit monthly reports for retail partners Onboard agencies with retail partners for new retail pickups Recommend and source potential new retail partnerships Review Opportunity Report Visit agency and retail partners as directed or needed Maintain and update as needed agency/retail partner assignments and point of contact Additional Responsibilities As assigned WAP Report Printing Pick Tickets Entering in date into Warehouse Summary Dashboard Covering in market(s) or other assigned areas as directed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree desired. GED or High school diploma
• 1-3 years working in a food retail environment or customer service role
• Work productively with frequent interruptions.
• Communicate professionally/effectively with relevant members of the department as well with retail vendors and other parts of the organization and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Agility, and Macola.
• Able to follow up quickly and resolve concerns with minimal supervision.
• Able to work independently and in conjunction with other staff members.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
