About The Position

This position is responsible for: Coordinate the pickup of donated items from local food partners, organize the donations received, and ensure proper storage in refrigerators and freezers to support weekly community food distribution efforts. Complies with Food Donation Connection ("FDC") guidelines, conducting and discarding inventory of expired food, maintaining inventory of food and cleaning supplies; prepares and maintains program and client records; recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers; schedules and coordinates delivery of food. Key Responsibilities: Conducts weekly community food distribution. Coordinates and picks up donated items from local food partners. Determines the appropriate amount of food to order for the program; maintains and organizes an adequate inventory of food and supplies for the Food Program; ensures the supply meets the program's needs. Assists in coordinating a variety of Christmas Programs, including delivering food and toys to families in need. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. A moderate amount of physical effort is required for walking, standing, lifting, and carrying objects (less than 40 lbs.). Work may be performed in a typical pantry environment within a climate-controlled structure. There are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, and dirt. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: High School or G.E.D. AND Minimum of 2 years Driving (Residential) OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Requirements

High School or G.E.D.
Minimum of 2 years Driving (Residential) OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Valid Driver’s License and must meet TSA MVR Requirements
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
