About The Position

The position directs the operations of a comprehensive food service program for the Academy for Staff Development's Central Campus. This position manages the staff and offenders in food preparation and food service facility sanitation to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, security regulations, and all applicable policies and procedures. This position ethically leads assigned personnel, providing guidance and coaching to enhance the training experience for the target audiences.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of food service management, sanitation practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to pan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Ability to work with and supervise staff and offenders.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising personnel in large volume food service environment.
  • ServSafe Manager and Allergen Certifications.
