Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in the retail, hospitality, non-profit, operations, or government sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have at least three years of supervisory experience, resulting in strong demonstrated leadership, administrative, and management skills.
  • You have proven experience building a program and leading with a strategic mindset.
  • You are proficient with database software, supply chain software, and Microsoft applications.
  • You have strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills,
  • You exhibit a high-level of decision-making, showing sound and accurate judgment and making timely decisions.
  • You have the ability to effectively delegate by assigning work, giving authority to work independently, setting expectations, and holding direct reports accountable.
  • You have superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage staff and other stakeholders.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively.
  • You demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Chris and a commitment to living out a Christ-centered lifestyle consistent with PRM's Statement of Faith.
  • You have the ability to integrate biblical principles in leadership, staff interactions, and client support.
  • You must meet and maintain the requirements to become an approved driver.
  • You have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage the food distribution program, including operations at the Hope for Hunger Food Bank and other distribution activities.
  • You will directly manage Food Distribution staff, including providing training and development, onboarding new staff, monitoring performance, and promoting a positive culture.
  • You will manage the food bank operations, ensuring safe and efficient flow of clients and food distribution and ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
  • You will order and manage food inventory for all food distribution activities.
  • You will resolve escalated client and volunteer issues.
  • You will partner with the Volunteer Engagement team to determine volunteer needs and ensure that volunteers are receiving appropriate training and management and have an excellent experience.
  • You will demonstrate compliance with Mission and partner requirements.
  • You will manage the proper updating of databases and provide timely and accurate reporting.
  • You will engage in discipleship by planting seeds and modeling Christ's love to clients and providing faith resources as requested.
  • You will demonstrate understanding and comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, company policies and procedures, and the Code of Ethical Conduct.
  • You will follow the Mission's Statement of Faith and lifestyle and adhere to the Mission's employee policy manual and guidelines set forth by the CEO.
  • You will foster a climate consistent with the Mission's core values.
