SALARY RANGE $34,760.00 - $38,236.00 Annually $1,336.92 - $1,470.62 Biweekly The hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This is work procuring, checking quality, preparation and issuing food at the Food Service Department. This is to include but not limited to the following: Ensure textures, temperatures and consistencies are correct before portioning food items at tray line station during the assembly of meal trays. Assist with preparation of meals including but not limited to opening cans, using equipment to prepare textures, following recipes to prepare a meal item. Ensure proper amount of food has been issued to tray line. Ensure work area is clean and sanitized at all times. Hair nets and gloves must be worn at all times. Operate dish washing machine during the cleaning and sanitizing of serving equipment. Monitor machine chemicals and record temperatures in log. Report variances to supervisor when discovered. Work pot room as assigned. Assemble grocery and snack items. Prepare salads according to schedule and prep food items for tray line as assigned. Perform specific cleaning duties as assigned. Assist with deliveries. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand , and walk on a consistent basis. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without accommodations. Must have manual dexterity(i.e. use of fingers, hands and arms). This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035. This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.

Requirements

This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.
This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.
