About The Position

The Food & Beverage Team Member is responsible for providing efficient food services procedures to be used in all food areas and to assist the Food & Beverage operations in daily preparations and execution of events.

Requirements

Must have or be willing to obtain a valid alcohol server certification
Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer
Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
One year of customer service experience
Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
Able to enter information on computers
Must comply with safety and health code standards
Good personal hygiene
Facility has intermittent noise
Must wear proper uniform

Nice To Haves

21 years of age (due to legal requirements for serving alcohol)
Current Food Handlers Card
CPR/First Aid Certified
1+ years of experience in food service environment

Responsibilities

Assist customers as needed with outstanding customer service
Operate an electronic point of sale (POS) system
Perform basic mathematical computations
Communicate with the public in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner
Clean concession areas and tables; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers
Pick up in and around concession areas
Scrape and rinse dishes, load dishwasher and operate dishwashing machine, wash dishes, carts, pots, pans, and equipment
Take and record temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food
Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas
Alert management immediately for the following incidences: suspicious acting persons, intoxicated individuals, adults with no children, etc.
Alert management immediately regarding mistake or adjustment to point of sale (POS) system
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age
Monitor and manage customer alcohol consumption to prevent over-serving
Recognize and respond to signs of intoxication
Follow all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service
