About The Position

The Food & Beverage Team Member is responsible for providing efficient food services procedures to be used in all food areas and to assist the Food & Beverage operations in daily preparations and execution of events.

Requirements

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a valid alcohol server certification
  • Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to enter information on computers
  • Must comply with safety and health code standards
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Facility has intermittent noise
  • Must wear proper uniform

Nice To Haves

  • 21 years of age (due to legal requirements for serving alcohol)
  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • 1+ years of experience in food service environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers as needed with outstanding customer service
  • Operate an electronic point of sale (POS) system
  • Perform basic mathematical computations
  • Communicate with the public in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner
  • Clean concession areas and tables; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers
  • Pick up in and around concession areas
  • Scrape and rinse dishes, load dishwasher and operate dishwashing machine, wash dishes, carts, pots, pans, and equipment
  • Take and record temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food
  • Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas
  • Alert management immediately for the following incidences: suspicious acting persons, intoxicated individuals, adults with no children, etc.
  • Alert management immediately regarding mistake or adjustment to point of sale (POS) system
  • Check IDs to verify legal drinking age
  • Monitor and manage customer alcohol consumption to prevent over-serving
  • Recognize and respond to signs of intoxication
  • Follow all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service
