About The Position

THE ROLE The Food and Beverage Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all front of house food and beverage operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff. Directly managing staff while having direct interaction with customers. Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory. Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures. Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality. Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced. Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures. Conduct physical audit of inventory and product. Research and perform reconciliations. Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities can include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain a Winstar Vendor Gaming badge.
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely organized with elevated time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
  • Must be able to work fluently in English
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
  • 1 year of team management experience required-PTO, Attendance, Schedules, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Employee Development
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in both English and Spanish.
  • Professional appearance and manner required
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such fractions, percentages, and ratios.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other related programs.
