About The Position

Lead the day-to-day operations of assigned food & beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service, team efficiency, and strict adherence to brand standards. Manage opening and closing procedures, including checklist completion, side work, and accurate cash handling. Support the Outlet Manager in onboarding, training, mentoring, and motivating front-of-house staff—servers, bartenders, bussers, and hosts. Oversee service during peak periods, providing on-the-floor leadership and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure menus, POS systems, table settings, and service areas are always clean, updated, and fully stocked. Partner with culinary leadership to ensure seamless coordination between front- and back-of-house, with attention to ticket times, special requests, and guest feedback. Assist with scheduling, timecard approvals, inventory tracking, and daily reporting as needed. Enforce compliance with all safety, sanitation, and health regulations throughout service areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort setting, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant service standards, food and beverage presentation, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse service team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and guest-service skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems (e.g., Micros, Aloha), Microsoft Office Suite, and timekeeping software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
  • Current food handler certification and responsible alcohol service certification (e.g., RBS, TIPS).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience in a resort setting with multiple outlets or venues.
  • Familiarity with restaurant analytics and reservation systems (e.g., Avero, ProfitSword, OpenTable).
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish.
