Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking an Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our outstanding team in our hotel restaurant outlet. This vital role will work closely with the Food and Beverage Leaders to support the Restaurants at the hotel, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction and associate development. If you have food and beverage expirience in a hotel environment, we would love to speak with you about this role. Salary range for this position (based on experience): $18.00/hour plus gratuities. Requirements

Previous restaurant supervisory experience required with hotel/resort restaurant experience preferred.
Must have flexible working schedule including working weekends and holidays
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for at least 8 hours a day
Must be provide current TIPS / State Alcohol Safety certification and Food Handlers certification prior to starting with us.
Ability to remain calm and professional under various circumstances and business levels.

Responsibilities

Manage staff schedule
Ensure associates take meal breaks and control overtime
Actively participate in menu development process
Meet deadline for projects and new requests
Staff training
Responsible for product availability for all items
Monitor proper sanitation procedures for all kitchen facilities and equipment
Keep food and beverage prep areas clean and organize in day-to day operation
Ensure Ecosure standards and procedures are maintained
Ensures that all barista and equipment is in good working order
Direct proper maintenance of all walk-in coolers (rotation of food products and cleanliness)
Participate and monitor daily food production
Monitors safety of staff
Conduct meetings with staff to resolve any operation concerns
Have clear understanding of department expectations, communicate them to the rest of the associates, and execute them within proper guidelines
Check and control prep and inventory lists
Maintain food par level
Maintain cleanliness of outlet.
