About The Position

The food and beverage department is a complex function requiring someone to coordinate and supervise multiple teams of associates in order for the restaurant to be a success. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure ground level operations for the food and beverage operations run smoothly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • At least two years working in a supervisory capacity with experience in restaurant and banquet operations
  • Someone who can remain calm under pressure all while communicating and coordinating associates in a positive and professional manner

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with restaurant and banquet staff set-ups, changes and time schedules for all functions and restaurant operation
  • Check room set-up to see that Banquet Event Order directions are completely followed. Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean.
  • Ensure the restaurant is properly set for meal services; coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure buffet is set/stocked properly.
  • Operate as a restaurant/banquet server when needed; setting up, greeting and serving the guest, and breaking down the function.
  • Inspect restaurant/banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean.
