Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required, post secondary education or degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum of two to four years of banquet or food and beverage supervisory experience required
  • Professional, outgoing, and guest focused demeanor
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage guests and team members
  • Proven leadership ability with a collaborative, team oriented approach
  • Ability to consistently exceed expectations of guests and team members
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time while overseeing operations and supporting service
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to approximately 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout dining rooms, kitchens, storage areas, banquet spaces, outdoor venues, and retail areas
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, guest facing environment
  • Ability to work in varying conditions including heat, cold, noise, and outdoor environments
  • Ability to maintain focus, professionalism, and a positive leadership presence during high volume service periods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hotel or resort banquet operations preferred
  • Working knowledge of three meal restaurant operations preferred
  • Working knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations, including room service and banquets, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Manager on Duty with a strong, visible presence on the floor, actively leading service and setting the tone for elevated hospitality
  • Maintain consistent floor coverage across all restaurants, bars, and banquet events to ensure refined service standards are met at all times
  • Actively engage with guests to anticipate needs, personalize experiences, and execute thoughtful service recovery when needed
  • Lead service execution with a luxury mindset, ensuring attention to detail, pacing, and presentation across all outlets and events
  • Demonstrate confident wine, spirits, and beverage knowledge to support staff, enhance guest interactions, and elevate the dining experience
  • Support proper wine presentation, tableside service, pairing guidance, and beverage storytelling
  • Train and coach front of house teams on elevated service standards, guest engagement, wine service, and hospitality fundamentals
  • Support onboarding and continuous training for servers, bartenders, banquet staff, and supervisors
  • Lead and contribute to pre service briefings with a focus on service points, menu knowledge, and guest expectations
  • Partner closely with Culinary, Banquet, and Food and Beverage leadership to ensure seamless execution of service and events
  • Support banquet service execution, including event flow, guest experience, and service refinement
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
  • Provide clear communication and thoughtful feedback to leadership to support continuous improvement
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall food and beverage and property objectives
