About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager at Marriott Orlando Downtown plays a pivotal role in overseeing banquet operations during all function times, ensuring smooth execution of events from start to finish. This position is responsible for managing administrative tasks related to banquets, including the creation, reconciliation, and posting of banquet checks. In addition to banquet management, the role also serves as the Outlets Manager and Starbucks Manager, with the flexibility to manage other Food & Beverage shifts and operations as needed when the hotel has no banquet functions. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
  • Starbucks Certified Leader.
  • Experience as a Restaurant and Bar Supervisor or Manager.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage banquet financial processes.
  • Ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Banquet Manager during all functions, overseeing event execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage administrative duties related to banquets such as creating, reconciling, and posting banquet checks.
  • Serve as Outlets Manager, overseeing daily operations of hotel Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Manage Starbucks operations as the Starbucks Manager, ensuring brand standards and customer service excellence.
  • Flexibly support and manage other Food & Beverage shifts and operations, adjusting to hotel needs and function schedules.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery during events and normal operations.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness across all Food & Beverage outlets and banquet areas.
