About The Position

Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill is San Jose’s best place to watch sports, with our two 200” HD projection screens and wall to wall 65” TVs. We have a diverse menu from appetizers to desserts, a full bar, and an amazing daily happy hour. Our busy restaurant packs in sports fans and casual diners alike. If you are looking for a fun work environment and room for growth, then join our team! Casino M8trix is actively recruiting a Food & Beverage Lead. This role serves as a restaurant shift manager who will lead, direct, and motivate our food and beverage staff in providing our guests with an outstanding and entertaining experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of food and beverage experience or a college degree in hospitality or related field.
• Must be at least 21years of age.
• Must be willing undergo a background check.
• Speak English fluently and coherently (additional language skills a plus).
• Must have flexible working hours (we are a 24/7 operation).
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate with professionalism.
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
• Strong ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with both employees and managers at all levels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must possess a great deal of tact and a strong work ethic.
• Takes great pride in doing their job well and seeing others succeed.
• Possess ability to work irregular hours, nights and weekends, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the business and changes in the work force.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the employees and upper management.
• Provide staff with proper training, support, materials, and tools.
