About The Position

The Food & Beverage Attendant position is at Forest Suites Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California, a property managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality. Responsibilities

Performs any necessary pre-shift sidework.
Becomes thoroughly familiar with all items on the buffet and means of preparation being offered that day, including the ingredients, preparation, and garnishes.
Ensures buffet is properly set up and cleaned.
Sets up hot and cold stations, displaying food in an aesthetic manner.
Maintains constant communication with kitchen in order to replenish all hot and cold food in an appetizing display.
Practices “clean as you go” techniques of service by keeping the buffet, kitchen, and serving area clean, neat, and supplied at all times.
Decorates the buffet with seasonal decorations if necessary.
Completes assigned side work and prepares the buffet for the following day.
Acts as a host or hostess with our guests, to welcome them to the buffet, explaining the menu offerings, and answering any questions they have about breakfast or our hotel.
