About The Position

Position purpose To provide friendly and efficient food service to guests.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years.
• Requires Food Handler’s Permit
• Requires Gaming License
• Requires problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, and, operate point of sale system.
• Position involves prolonged standing or walking, stooping or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.
• Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grill cook experience in a fast paced or high volume establishment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check pantry to ensure adequate supply of seasonings and food items.
• Report any inventory shortages to the Grill Supervisor.
• Prepare sauces, garnishes, and side dish items before they are needed.
• Prepare short order food items when they are ordered.
• Become familiar with preparing and pricing all menu items.
• Accept payment, make change, and operate point of sale system to record and track sales.
• Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient guest services.
• Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed.
• Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift.
• Obtain and maintain food handler’s permit, and gaming license.
• Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
