About The Position

The Food Attendant ensures that our counters, floors, tables and serving areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position will also serve food to guests and assist with stocking and re-stocking of all supplies. This position requires close contact with the public, the ability to work well with co-workers, and assists Santa’s guests in a safe, courteous and efficient manner.

Requirements

Must be able to operate cash register and count out change to guests
Able to learn which cleaning products are needed to clean food areas safely and efficiently.
Must possess a courteous and friendly rapport with guests and co-workers.
Have interpersonal/communication skills orally and in written language.
Understand importance of wearing gloves and washing hands.
Must be 14 years of age or older
Must be able to exhibit all physical demands listed in this job description at any given time during shift
Must be flexible throughout season, with weekend availability
Must be able to work independently, with little daily supervision

Responsibilities

Operates cash register, accepts cash and credit card payments, and gives back proper change
Keeps all counters, tables, and floors clean.
Stocks and restocks all supplies and condiments.
Communicates with kitchen to ensure orders can be filled.
Washes and sanitizes dish’s (trays, pots and pans, utensils, etc.)
Keeps back stock areas organized, breaks down cardboard boxes and places cardboard in designated location.
Ensures safety of all employees and guests.
Greets guests courteously and assists guests.
Maintains a positive attitude.
Arrives at work on time, in “good show,” and keeps neat and clean throughout the day.
Other duties as assigned.
