POSITION SUMMARY The Food & Beverage Systems Manager is responsible for the governance, maintenance, and training activities of the Food & Beverage Division point of sale (POS), mobile ordering platform, and inventory systems in addition to serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at an enterprise level for the designated properties and/or software systems. This role will manage and coordinate operational needs including training, data entry, reporting, inventory, data management, etc. to ensure people, processes and systems are functioning at high levels and minimized downtime. This role also will act to enable operating teams to maximize all benefits, financial, reporting and other, of the Food & Beverage Technology Systems. This role also represents and is the liaison for the Food & Beverage division in communication with related divisions including finance, IT, marketing and merchandise

Requirements

  • College degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management, or in Culinary preferred. Practical experience would be considered in lieu of educational degrees.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive Food & Beverage Leadership experience with roles in food & beverage systems management, analytics, inventory control, procurement preferred. Multi-unit experience preferred.
  • Experience with Micros SIMPHONY and CrunchTime required. Extensive experience with like software would be considered in lieu of experience in Micros SIMPHONY and CrunchTime.
  • Strong technical proficiency in POS, inventory and restaurant management software required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of inventory control, analytics, purchasing, vendor management, and food safety standards required.
  • Proven track record of business acumen with strategic ability and customer centric thinking.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing teams and individuals.
  • ServSafe Food, Allertrain Allergen and TiPS Alcohol Certified or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Demonstrates professional, courteous, and positive interactions with guests, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, interactive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, performs and/or coordinates functional and data entry activities related to Food & Beverage Technology Systems for the enterprise to ensure accurate and timely data including the following tasks:
  • Enters and maintains Prep and POS recipes
  • Creates and maintains sales location POS screens
  • Enters and maintains product photograph records
  • Enters and maintains entitlements, stored value, discounts programs, passholder programs, and other Food & Beverage related programs
  • Monitors, adjusts and ensures accurate retail pricing, costing, units, conversions and valuations
  • Audits and governs F&B POS, Inventory and Mobile Ordering platforms
  • Lead support for properties across the enterprise for software upgrades, enhancements, and new/updated application roll-outs, as directed
  • Supports the launch and subsequent ongoing maintenance and management of additional Food & Beverage technology rollouts such as addition kitchen management, daily operations, food safety or other food & beverage related software
  • Supports, manages, maintains and/or coordinates, in conjunction with related divisions, all Food & Beverage Technology supply requirements for properties including hardware, scanners, terminals, card readers, kiosks, tablets, etc. to ensure operational teams are functioning at a high capacity and minimizing downtime
  • Acts as a liaison between revenue division, finance, IT, marketing, vendors and other related divisions, to support revenue technology effectiveness
  • Troubleshoots and represents the Food & Beverage division as it relates to Food & Beverage technology and its interface with other software applications including ticketing, finance, vendor software, etc. to ensure minimized downtime, timely remediation and ongoing support
  • Fields and troubleshoots all food & beverage technology related for operations end-user issues
  • In conjunction with enterprise guidance, governs Food & Beverage division data and data rules, ensuring ongoing credibility and effectiveness of data
  • Generates and provides Food & Beverage sales, inventory and related reporting and analysis to property and PSC leadership on a regular basis and as requested
  • Uses data and analytics to provide usable data to operators as requested and/or administers auto-generated reports
  • Supports all enterprise level inventory procedures and processes as required during period end and cycle counts
  • Provides leadership throughout inventory process and month end close including variance reports, valuation reports, sales and COGS reports to aid in timely and accurate month end close
  • Supports vendor integration and ongoing vendor maintenance as it relates to integrating new vendors, troubleshooting existing vendor integrations, maintaining bid sheets and vendor bids and related activities
  • Conducts and supports Super User and SME training for back-office users of Food & Beverage Technology Systems
  • Creates and maintains training and process documentation and job aides related to Food & Beverage Technology systems and enterprise level documentation
  • Leads, supports and/or coordinates all training and user development for properties as it relates to Food & Beverage Technology Systems and may include on-boarding, orientation, on-going and advanced training, on POS and Inventory Software capabilities, equipment, reporting, etc. at multiple levels including front line users, back-office users, supervisors and senior leadership and other divisions as requested
  • Provides Operator End-User support for properties as related to POS and Inventory System
