We are seeking to hire an experienced Supervisor for our Food and Beverage outlets. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Requirements

  • 1+ years supervisory experience
  • 2+ years full-service restaurant experience as a server or bartender
  • Current Food Handlers and MAST permit, or willing to obtain one within 14 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred, but not required
  • Good knowledge of F&B operations, including bar and In-room Dining
  • Experience working in Micros or Simphony system preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Under direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, ensure F&B outlets are supervised on a daily basis.
  • Assist with associates work schedules as needed.
  • Be the direct point of contact for all F&B associates.
  • Perform opening or closing duties when needed.
  • Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all F&B activities and operations
  • Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
  • Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationship
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Other duties as assigned
