About The Position

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Outrider Rooftop Lounge at the Canopy Hilton Scottsdale Old Town ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Supervise and coordinate the work of the bartenders at the Outrider Rooftop Lounge . Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate important information and updates to the team. Leads and motivates bartending and serving staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team. Responsible for ordering and inventorying of bar supplies, liquor, beer and wine. Assigns duties and responsibilities to bartenders, providing clear instruction and guidance. Checks out servers and barstaff before leaving shift to ensure checklists are completed. Ensure that guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience. Conducts table touches and addresses customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve the performance of bartenders. Conduct regular inspections of bar areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure the smooth flow of orders and timely service. Coordinate with the kitchen on special requests or dietary restrictions. Addresses any maintenance or equipment issues promptly. Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned. Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience required.
  • A minimum of (2) years of restaurant or hotel experience
  • Food Handler's Card - must be state/county-specific.
  • Alcohol Awareness Training Certification - must be state/county-specific.
  • This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions, as well as, knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
