About The Position

The Food & Beverage Sanitation Supervisor ensures the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness across food and beverage areas. The role supports peak operational periods, maintains compliance with industry regulations, and fosters clear communication among team members, leads, co-supervisors, and senior management.

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience including theme park or water park management, ability to manage multi-units. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail while meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Proficient in computer abilities including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively follow-up to ensure all issues are corrected in a timely manner, and all safe service standards are being met.
  • Required to obtain and maintain Serv Safe Manager Certification.
  • Required to obtain and maintain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) server/seller certification.
  • Must be willing to work on a varied schedule, including extended shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must adhere to grooming guidelines, including wearing non-slip shoes.
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feet; reach hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level is generally moderate to high.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily and weekly sanitation audits to uphold cleanliness and food safety standards.
  • Mentor and coach team members, delivering guidance on proper sanitation practices.
  • Administer ServSafe certification for Seasonals.
  • Support Food and Beverage operations during peak business days and special events to ensure efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain weekly reports aligned with Six Flags Safety Culture and Diversey standards.
  • Compile and present weekly recap reports to the Manager of In-Park Revenue, including process improvement recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings with the Regional Chef to review health and sanitation audits.
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns that could impact food or personal safety.
  • Serve as a liaison with the park’s Public Safety Department to address safety issues related to food and beverage operations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of safety audit findings in collaboration with the team.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspectors and the Department of Health during audits and inspections.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and aiding in line with Six Flags standards.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
