About The Position

Druid Hills Golf Club, a premier private club in Atlanta, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our food outlet operations. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member service, managing the staff, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in food and beverage offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record of success in restaurant management. This position is part of a rotational manager program to gain experience and lead different food service outlets within the operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provides innovative ideas to elevate the dining experience for members and their guests.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of operational standards.
  • Continuously train and develop staff on service standards, menu offerings, and overall customer experience.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Enforce health and safety protocols in accordance with local regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, monitor expenses, and make recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and private parties.
  • Interviews and hires service staff.
  • Conducts performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Handles member complaints in a professional manner
