About The Position

As a leading hotel in the luxury market, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the Food and Beverage Team at this beautiful property! This Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond hotel has 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes a new Italian Tuscan Steakhouse, a rooftop restaurant, lobby lounge, and in-room dining. Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of The Rooftop. You will report directly to the Restaurant General Manager and directly overseeing 55-60 Front of House Team Members. The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in elevating guest satisfaction. At least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment is required. Experience managing a unionized environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
