About The Position

The Brand-New Hyatt Place Hotel in Post Falls, Idaho is currently recruiting for a Food and Beverage Manager. This 151-room hotel aims to lead the next generation of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine hospitality attitude and be part of a team dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for guests. The hotel is managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, which operates award-winning hotels in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, with a strong focus on hospitality. This position is responsible for the management, planning, and execution of daily activities across all Food & Beverage Departments. This includes, but is not limited to, restaurants, outlets, banquets, and culinary departments, with particular attention to safety, guest satisfaction, security, asset protection, and maintaining required standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • 4+ years hotel/food and beverage management experience
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, HRIS and Payroll functionality
  • Extensive knowledge in restaurant, bar banquet, stewarding, kitchen, sales, catering, and management

  • Degree in hospitality or related field of study
