About The Position

Exciting Opportunity to join Belle Haven Country Club. We seek a knowledgeable and seasoned Food and Beverage Director who we lead, direct and enhance our food and beverage outlets.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lead a large food and beverage team
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts to meet high peak seasonal requirements.
  • High school education and relevant training and experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education preferred.
  • First aid training preferred.
  • Additional language ability preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain standards of food, beverage, and promote quality member service.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses to maximize profitability related to the food and beverage department.
  • Contribute, measure and add to member satisfaction.
  • Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department that relate to the overall objectives of the Club.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual Club budget.
  • Increase level of member satisfaction by delivering exceptional products and employee development/engagement.
  • Manage in compliance with Federal, state, local, and club regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and inventory control.
  • Respond and resolve member requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software. JONAS/Paylocity/MS Outlook/MS programs, Excel
  • Handel Safe Serve, TIPS training and other training modules quarterly and annually.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with members, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.
  • Ability to accurately report information.
  • Ability to assist with various banquets, events and accounting departments tasks as needed.
  • Ability to scrupulously follow all Belle Haven Country Club policies, club bylaws and procedures.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Understands and communicates the Club’s Mission / Vision.
  • Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
  • Actively listens to others.
  • Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
  • Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all Club departments and functions.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
  • CPR/AED training required; first aid training preferred.
