JOB SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced and passionate Food and Beverage Director to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Director, you will overtake a variety of responsibilities and duties such as restaurant marketing strategies, recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, working closely with the Executive Chef as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for all things food and beverage. They have a unique ability to positively lead others while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. It is critical for our leader to believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time as well as work diligently to manage the Food and Beverage budget. They are responsible for providing guidance and support for employees, involved in the day-to-day operations of the Front of House, and collaborates and communicates with Back of House team to create genuine guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Food and Beverage Director or similar role
  • Extensive food and wine knowledge
  • Computer literacy
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Experience in event planning

Responsibilities

  • Actively involved int he day to day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
  • Deliver superior guest services, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Plan new and updating beverage menus
  • Plan and develop restaurant marketing strategy
  • Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Manage and lead staff
  • Hire new employees
  • Training and evaluate staff performance
  • Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
  • Manage restaurant supplies
  • Control costs and minimize waste
