The Food & Beverage Cashier/Food Prep position is responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience by providing quality food and superior customer service. Associates will operate a POS system for sales transactions while properly handling cash and credit transactions. When not actively assisting guests with food choices, associates are required to prepare the varying food items through cold and hot preparation. This position reports directly to the Feeding Frenzy Supervisor and the Director of Food & Beverage. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks: • Perform cash handling and customer transaction processing. • Perform duties as requested by the Executive Chef or Feeding Frenzy Supervisor to ensure that proper levels of food production are maintained (i.e. pizza, sandwiches, salads, sliced meats, cheeses, fruits, etc.). • Maintain work areas as well as the surrounding areas, which include the dining room, in a clean and sanitary manner within company and health department standards. • Make sure that counter displays are well stocked and maintain them in that fashion throughout the entire shift • Assist any area within the food department to ensure guest satisfaction. • May assist in performing a monthly inventory. • Assist fellow employees whenever needed.
