About The Position

As a FOH Shift Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving smooth operations and delivering the excellent guest service Dock 17 is known for.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience, including leadership.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, set goals, and motivate a team.
• Comfortable with technology (POS systems, scheduling software).
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays (closed Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support FOH operations when management is away.
• Assign duties, guide, and motivate team members.
• Train servers, bussers, runners, and hosts to shine in their roles.
• Ensure every guest feels welcome and cared for.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and positivity.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and compliance with company policies.
• Uphold health, safety, and service standards that keep our guests coming back.
