About The Position

Mamahuhu is growing its front of house team. We have a casual, 40-seat dining room with bench, counter and booth seating. The dining room is designed for counter-service style ordering where guests line up, order at the counter, receive a number and we bring the food out to them when it’s ready. The front of house is designed to be simple and lean and works great when we have a tight, organized group who can work efficiently and as a team. We are looking for a friendly and positive FOH Shift Lead that can run food, bus the dining room, hold down our point of sale (POS) counter during service and open and close the Front of House during any day of the week. The position is dynamic and will have you working in the dining room, at the POS counter taking orders, answering the phone and occasionally supporting our expediter in the kitchen. Our Shift Lead position is the first layer of leadership above our entry-level Team Member positions. As Shift Lead you are a leader during your shift, helping to coach our Team Members provide excellent service to Mamahuhu's standards day in and day out. Requirements

Ideally has at least 1 year of experience in a hospitality leadership role (Shift Lead or similar)
Has a strong work ethic, and thrives on being part of a close knit team
Has a sense of urgency, and challenges themselves to accomplish more each day
Can pay close attention to detail
Appreciates food as a way to bring people together
Has a strong sense of hospitality and service
