Apply online to be a part of our team! Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service. Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards. Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems. Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance expectations are followed and completed on a timely basis. Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff. Direct and delegate tasks, responsibilities and expectations to staff. Cultivate an environment of open, authentic dialogue with the SnowmoBAR team. Practice proactive performance management in partnership with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager (and HR when necessary) to ensure adherence to employment policies and procedures. In partnership with the Kitchen Manager, assist employees with career development strategies to improve employee retention and build bench strength. Ensure consistent execution of Company policies and procedures. Develop/streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the Kitchen Manager. Manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage. Keep consistent management of restaurant emails. Be aware of all call outs and staffing issues when on shift. Incorporate and administer applicable safety and sanitation programs for the restaurant, employees, and guests. Communicate the HallPass lifestyle through brand execution, both visual and experiential. Ensure employee appearance appropriately reflects the SnowmoBAR brand image. Manage the upkeep of the physical restaurant in partnership with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager. Responsible for embracing, articulating, and reflecting the SnowmoBAR Culture. Influence the team to embrace, articulate, and reflect Core Values of SnowmoBAR. Demonstrate the business acumen in all business decisions and actions. Commit to maintain the culture through the evolution of the business. Co-manage Team Meetings with the Front of the House as needed. Be receptive to feedback and coaching. Responsible for achieving or exceeding kitchen financial expectations (i.e. food cost, food efficiencies, labor costs, and direct kitchen expenses). Possess complete knowledge, execution, and enforcement of all food and beverage menus –including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation. Ensures the safety, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards through proper supervision and training. Possess complete knowledge, application, and enforcement of all policies, procedures, and standards. Administer disciplinary notices when necessary. Hire upbeat and qualified front of house staff. Hold staff accountable and terminate staff when warranted. Other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 1 year or more of recent F&B Management Experience.
  • 1 year or more of customer service experience.
  • Comfortable standing for entire shift.
  • Comfortable lifting 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Comfortable with operating a cash register.
  • Flexible on hours.
  • Work independently.
  • Work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests with a smile and a friendly greeting.
  • Assist and take guest orders.
  • Employ approved suggestive selling techniques to help guests who are undecided.
  • Operate a cash register.
  • Clean tables and counters in the dining room area.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
  • Control the food flow from the kitchen to fellow Servers and for Delivery (if applicable).
  • Responsible for communicating special instructions between the Kitchen Staff, Servers, Delivery Staff and Management.
  • Responsible for knowing the menu to include the ingredients and preparation of specific menu items.
  • Stock food products, perform side work duties as directed by manager, clean tables and counters in the dining room area, and maintain cleanliness of their work station.
  • Verify food for consistency.
  • Organize orders for table deployment.
  • Make drinks, take orders, clear and clean tables, and ensure work area is clean and orderly.
