Foam Molding Machine Operator
About The Position
We're seeking Foam Molding Machine Operator to Operate and oversee an automated molding process where machine is fed materials into mold, sets up, operates, and produces end product once cured meeting STI quality standards. The operator monitors machine feeding, operation to continually produce brick throughout the shift. Key duties include setting up performing quality control inspections and working closing with team lead to produce end product. This position is based at our Manufacturing and Warehouse Facility in Burlington, New Jersey. The schedule for this role is Monday–Thursday, working 10‑hour shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior Machine Operator experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Understanding molding process fundamentals
- A meticulous approach to the setup, operation, and quality recognition.
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and oversee molding machines and auxiliary equipment. This includes setting machine parameters like pressure, temperature, and cycle times.
- Process Optimization: Adjust and optimize machine processes for efficiency and quality, considering factors like material properties and mold design. This includes running trials and performing
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Call for support for corrective actions as needed.
- Safety, Housekeeping: Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and complies with all safety
