Performs a variety of patient food service, dishroom, and sanitation duties.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Food service experience in a high volume healthcare setting preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling.
Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities
Cleans and sanitize all equipment in the dishroom, and assigned areas.
Removes trash from kitchen, dining areas and clean walls/floors per assignment.
Stock trays and silverware in dining room.
Follow proper dish washing procedures: scraping, soaking, wash/sanitizing and storing clean dishes per assignment.
Leaves dishroom in clean and organized manner.
Set-up dish machine monitor and record water temperature.
