Fluids Systems Designer - Lunar Permanence

Blue Origin
2d$121,023 - $169,432

About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. In this role you will be the Fluids Systems Design Lead, to design and deliver the fluids systems that supply our main propulsion for the Cargo Lunar Lander. Scope includes the complete life cycle from system definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operations. You will lead cross-functional trade studies, run integrated analyses, and define interfaces that impact the design and integration of the spacecraft. A successful candidate will understand fluid systems, components, fluid dynamics, and compressible flow for space vehicles. You should expect that this foundational part of our vision will require your excellent communication and teamwork. We are seeking someone to bring their technical expertise, leadership abilities, and dedication to quality to make a positive impact on safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is essential!
