About The Position

Are you a talented engineer interested in the design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems? We have the perfect opportunity for the right individual as a Fluids Engineer here at Valmet! Join our team of experts who support our customers with world-class technology solutions within the pulp & paper industry. As the expert you will: Create circuit drawings and piping diagrams Create valve panel assembly drawings Work with component selection and create installation task lists Responsible for system sizing (hydraulic power units, valves, pipes) Engineering calculations for flow and pressure Participate in FAT and start-ups as required

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from a four-year college or university; a minimum of four years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must understand fluid circuit design and ability to use AutoCad.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally, you will have some paper industry experience - heavy industrial equipment experience preferred.
• Cadmatic expierence is a plus but not required.
• We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and enjoy learning new things.
