As a Flower Trim Lead at Curaleaf, you’ll oversee post-harvest processing operations prior to the packaging stage, ensuring flower is trimmed efficiently, consistently, and to quality standards. You’ll lead a team of associates while managing workflow, equipment, and daily production targets.

Requirements

  • Confidence managing daily priorities, pacing work, and keeping teams on schedule while communicating clearly under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent approach to quality, documentation, and compliance
  • Comfort using production trackers, inventory systems, and basic computer tools, with confidence in measurements and scales
  • Reliability, accountability, and ownership of both individual work and team performance
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of experience leading or guiding a team in a commercial cannabis, agricultural, or landscaping environment
  • Prior knowledge of growing technologies including lighting, irrigation, nutrients, HVAC, or CO₂ systems
  • Experience supporting sanitation programs, biosecurity protocols, or 5S initiatives
  • Understanding of different cannabis strains and their unique vegetative growth needs

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team responsible for processing flower prior to the packaging stage, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the trimming operation
  • Lead and support associates operating automated and semi-automated trimming machines, ensuring proper setup, safe operation, and optimal performance
  • Coordinate daily start-up, changeovers, and shut-down of trimming equipment in accordance with SOPs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical or operational issues with trimming machines, escalating maintenance concerns as needed
  • Pace labor and workflow to ensure daily production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
  • Monitor productivity metrics, workflow efficiency, and team performance to keep operations on track and aligned with production goals
