About the position: Prepare patient charts prior to medical and behavioral encounters Collect and document vital signs Administer urine drug screen and record results, assist medical provider with UDS interpretation and process UDS confirmation as necessary Document injection consents and assist with injections Provide customer support to patients in the clinic including scheduling, appointment confirmation, and provider sequencing Document medical and behavioral encounters in health record management systems Administer and process consent forms and other patient questionnaires Assist medical and behavioral provider in writing and transferring orders Transfer imaging from partner portals into health record management systems Obtain and assist medical provider in reviewing the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES) report Process referrals as ordered to other external providers and community health resources Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked. Notify supervisor when supplies are needed Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements Data entry and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant certification
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Scribe certification preferred

Responsibilities
