About The Position

Walters Wedding Estates in partnership with The Design Haus Houston, is looking for a Floral Manager with a great attitude and work ethic to join our wedding and event floral production team! Our team is rapidly growing and this position provides a great opportunity to grow your career with us. On average we produce 5-10+ weddings per weekend.

Requirements

• Location: Hickory Creek, TX
• Job Type: Full Time
• Hours: Flexible Schedules. Must be available to work weekends.
• Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in Floral Design
• 2+ years of experience as a Manager
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 40+ pounds throughout the day
• Other: Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
• Submit/complete background check; have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Team Management + Design
• Hiring, Firing, Onboarding, Training Floral Design Team
• Setting Design and Production Goals for the Team
• Setting + Enforcing Design Standards
• Setting Work Schedules for Design Team
• Educating Team on Profitable, Executable Designs
• Hosting Team Meetings
• Designing + Attending Open Houses
• Upper Management Communication
• Communicating any Specific Needs to Operations
• Attending all BEO Meetings
• Communicating with Sales Manager on Proposals
• Approving Employee Payroll
• Executing Budget + Reviewing P+L
