Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Friendly, confident communication skills and basic math ability
- A positive, professional attitude with a strong guest-first mindset
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift and lift up to 25 pounds
- Comfort working with computers, phones, and in cool environments such as flower coolers
- Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service by warmly greeting, assisting, and thanking every guest with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Listen carefully to guest needs and recommend floral products and services that best fit each occasion
- Handle cashiering duties with confidence by processing payments, verifying orders, and ensuring merchandise is beautifully prepared before wrapping
- Answer incoming phone calls within three rings and respond to text and email messages within two hours
- Conduct guest follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships
- Provide daily activity updates to leadership and support sales efforts
- Keep floral displays full, fresh, and visually appealing based on current promotions
- Water and care for plants and floral floor arrangements
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts
- Provide elevated service to VIP guests
- Support other departments as needed
- Maintain a clean, professional phone center, sales floor, workstations, and parking area
